Enjoy a powerful 3-day weekend with speakers from multiple fellowships sharing a common solution, along with interactive workshops and meaningful connection.
There’s something that happens when people come together with honesty, courage, and a shared commitment to growth.
That’s what the Austin Roundup (ARU) is all about.
Each year, ARU brings together LGBTQ+ individuals and allies in recovery to share experience, strength, and hope. This is a space where connection, healing, and community take center stage.
Event Details
When: Friday, July 17 – Sunday, July 19, 2026
6505 N Interstate Hwy 35
Austin, TX 78752
This year's theme is: The Road of Happy Destiny.
From the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, pg. 164:
"Clear away the wreckage of your past. Give freely of what you find and join us. We shall be with you in the Fellowship of the Spirit, and you will surely meet some of us as you trudge the Road of Happy Destiny."
There’s a path forward that isn’t chaos, isolation, or constant struggle
That path becomes clear through connection, honesty, and spiritual growth
And most importantly, you don’t have to walk it alone
What to Expect at ARU:
The ARU Conference is a full experience.
Inspiring speakers from multiple recovery fellowships
Interactive workshops and meaningful conversations
Fellowship opportunities and great meals
A welcoming space for both newcomers and long-time community members
Meet old friends and make new ones. Fostering acceptance. Supporting individual sobriety. Promoting unity for the LGBT+ community and allies in recovery from addiction. Whether you’re early in your journey or years into it, there’s something here for you.
