Our Story

Austin Roundup (ARU) is led by board members and volunteer committees. We are a collection of LGBT+ people and allies in recovery here to share our experience, strength, and hope with others in recovery. All are welcome to attend an event or get in contact with us so that you can help us reach our annual goal of hosting a recovery roundup in Austin, Texas.

We were founded in 1999 and have since grown to an average of 150+ attendees. Our biggest most profitable fundraising recovery event is our ARU Iconic Drag Show.
